What the app stores, and where

Everything the app records about your studying is kept locally on your device: which sections you have read, your answers, mistakes, bookmarks, your own question notes, flashcard review dates, mock test scores, your daily goal, your streak and your test date, if you set one.

We do not receive any of it. There is no server that holds a copy, because there is no account to attach one to.

No accounts, no tracking

There is no sign-up and no login. The app has no analytics, no advertising and no third-party trackers, and it never asks for your name, your email address or your phone number. Nothing in it profiles you or builds an advertising identifier.

iCloud sync

Settings contains an iCloud sync switch, which is off unless you turn it on. With it on, the app writes a copy of the same study progress to your own iCloud account using Apple's key-value storage, so that it reaches your other Apple devices signed in to the same Apple Account. That data is held by Apple under your account and Apple's terms; we cannot read it. Turning the switch off removes the copy the app placed there.

Purchases

Premium is sold weekly, monthly or as one payment, and all three are handled entirely by Apple's App Store. We never see your payment details. The app asks the App Store whether this Apple Account currently owns Premium and unlocks accordingly; it keeps the yes or no and, for a subscription, the date the paid period ends. That is the whole exchange, and restoring a purchase asks the same question again.

Managing or cancelling a subscription happens in your Apple Account rather than here, so we are told nothing about it beyond the answer to that same question the next time the app asks.

Notifications

Study reminders are optional and are scheduled by your device. Nothing leaves it, and no notification is sent from a server. You can turn them off in the app or in iOS Settings.

Study content updates

The study material ships inside the app and works offline. When a content update is configured, the app may fetch a signed content file over HTTPS and check its signature before using it. That request is an ordinary download: it carries no identifier of you or your progress, and we do not build profiles from server logs.

Translation and reading aloud

Sections and questions can be translated into another language, and the notes can be read aloud. Both use what is built into iOS and both run on the device: the text you are studying is not sent to us or to any translation or speech service of ours. The first use of a language may download that language from Apple, which is a request between your device and Apple.

Children

The app is a revision aid for an adult immigration test. It is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.

Your choices

• Turn iCloud sync on or off at any time in Settings.
• Turn reminders on or off at any time in Settings.
• Erase everything the app has recorded by using "Reset all progress" in Settings, or by deleting the app.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. As the app collects nothing, we do not expect changes beyond keeping it accurate.
