Life in the UK Test 2026

Terms of use

Ionify Digital. Last updated 20 August 2026.

The short version

An independent study app. Weekly, monthly, or one payment through the App Store, with no claim to be the official test. The same terms are in the app itself, under Settings.

Who these terms are with

Life in the UK Test 2026 is published by Ionify Digital. These terms are an agreement between you and us alone. Apple is not a party to them and is not responsible for the app or its contents.

Using the app means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, delete the app.

Your licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on any Apple-branded device you own or control, on the terms of the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms of Service. The licence is for your own study.

It does not allow you to sell, rent, sub-licence, redistribute or republish the app or the study material in it, to strip out the questions or notes for use elsewhere, or to collect them by automated means.

What Premium is

In short

Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, weekly or monthly, or a single One payment purchase that never renews. Current prices are shown in the app. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed. A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period; manage or cancel it in Settings › your name › Subscriptions. There is no trial period, and refunds are handled by Apple rather than by us.

Premium unlocks every study section, all of the mock tests, the flashcard decks, the chapter tests and the full timeline. The content is the same whichever way you buy it; the difference is only how long it lasts.

There are three ways to buy it. Weekly and monthly are auto-renewable subscriptions. One payment is a single purchase that never renews.

A subscription renews by itself until you cancel it. Apple takes the renewal within 24 hours of the end of each period, at the price shown when you subscribed, and keeps doing so until you stop it. There is no trial period.

Cancelling is done in Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your device, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions, at least a day before the next renewal. We cannot cancel it for you — only Apple and you can. Cancelling stops the next payment and leaves you the days you have already paid for.

Buying the one payment does not cancel a subscription you already have. If you have both, you are charged for both, so cancel the subscription yourself.

Every price is set in App Store Connect and shown to you by the App Store in your own currency before you confirm. Payment is taken by Apple from your Apple Account at the moment you confirm.

What you buy belongs to your Apple Account rather than to one phone, so it carries across your Apple devices and comes back after a reinstall with Restore purchase on the Premium screen.

The free part of the app is a sample rather than a course: the first two sections of chapter one, with some of their questions and cards, the first mock test, and the whole syllabus visible so you can see what is there. Your progress, mistakes and daily plan are never behind the purchase, and if a subscription ends, that free part and everything you have studied are still there.

Refunds

Apple is the seller of record, so refunds are Apple's to give and not ours. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Tell us at support@ionifydigital.com if something in the app did not work. We will fix it, and a reply from us helps your case with Apple.

What this app is not

This app is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Home Office, GOV.UK, TSO or any UK government body.

The notes and questions are written by us. They are not the official handbook and they are not the official test. Nobody outside the Home Office knows the real questions.

Use the app alongside the current official handbook and the guidance on GOV.UK, and check anything that affects your booking or your application against the official source.

Passing a mock test here is not a promise that you will pass the real one, and we do not guarantee any test result or immigration outcome.

Accuracy and changes to the content

We take reasonable care to keep the material correct and current, and the app can install signed content updates from us. Even so, the syllabus and the official guidance change, and the app is provided as it is.

To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that the content is free of error or fit for a particular purpose.

If the app fails to conform to any warranty that does apply, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund what you paid for it. That is the limit of Apple's warranty obligation; any other claim is ours to answer, not Apple's.

Support

We are solely responsible for supporting and maintaining the app. Apple has no obligation to provide either. Write to support@ionifydigital.com and a person will read it.

Claims

We, and not Apple, are responsible for dealing with any claim that the app or your use of it does not meet a legal requirement, infringes someone's intellectual property, or gives rise to a product liability or consumer protection claim.

Where you may use it

By using the app you confirm that you are not in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated by the US Government as supporting terrorism, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Our material

The study notes, the questions, the artwork and the design of the app are ours and are protected by copyright. Study with them freely; do not republish them.

Liability

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the app, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Apple's position

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and on your acceptance Apple has the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, the app will show them again and ask you to accept the new version. The date at the top of this page tells you when they last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the protection of any mandatory law of the country you live in.
